Sara Scott / instructor
Sara started taking dance lessons from Betty Hayes in Avoca, WI when she was 3 years old and remained dancing until she graduated high school. What was extremely special was the fact that Sara’s mom also took lessons from Betty Hayes as well, so that is why it was so important for her daughters to start dancing when they were 3 too. Sara has taken classes in ballet, jazz and tap…tap being her favorite. Currently, Sara lives in Sun Prairie with her husband, Chad, and two daughters Carley and Jenna. Sara always tells her daughters’ that it’s OK to be silly and ‘dance it out’ and brings that into her teaching style…let’s have fun, be silly and learn the fundamentals.
Nessa Skrepenski / instructor
Nessa grew up dancing beginning at the age of 5, and dance has always been a part of her life. When she had her daughters they both started dancing at Madison Dance Academy. Nessa has been involved with the studio since 2006 and a few years after her girls started dancing, she began teaching. Nessa has been married for 20 years to her husband, Nick and they have two wonderful dancing daughters, Emma and Molly. Nessa has choreographed many award winning dances for the dance team over the years and loves being able to meet new dancers every season and greet the returning students she adores.
